This week was a busy one, beginning with being sick and ending with some major projects that I have yet to start. Tonight is going to be long, but hopefully I can get some of the papers drafted so I don't feel pressured to do homework on Sunday. It is always nice to have a day off from school.

My favorite class this semester is Phonics, on Monday and Wednesday's. On Monday, Mrs. Comers had us make story baskets out of construction paper. It is a construction paper basket in the shape of a main character in a predictable pattern storybook. Inside the basket are paper cutouts of the other characters or happenings in the story. The student can tell the story to himself using the cutouts and his memory of the predictable story! I thought that was such a great idea, and I am going to make a couple of books into story baskets!

When I have the time, that is. :)

Other news from this week:
-Chapel on Wed. was amazing: Rebecca McDonald came and spoke about WAR International, an organization fighting slavery and human trafficking in 14 different countries.
-Chapel on Thurs. was also wonderful: Mark Irving spoke about true humility in the life of a believer based on James 4:6-10. Always wonderful to hear from God's Word in chapel!
-Ed Psych is always a hilarious trip through the inner workings of humans. On Tues, Dr. Baumann showed this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eo7jcI8fAuI
Check it out! And if you don't know what classical conditioning is, ask me!
-Photoshop CS3 is officially the worst program to be on at 11:00 at night. Especially when the project is due the next day.
-CU Friday! This Friday was no exception to the lovely presentation that CU puts on for the incoming students. They turned the FOUNTAINS on!
-In light of the previous one, SPRING IS HERE!!
-Beautiful weather all around!

Now, on to that RA interview!
