Today marks a new day of a wonderful week. Why is it wonderful? Because it is the last day of classes!! I am so thrillingly energized about ending school. Next week is finals! Then the week after- SUMMER! Oh, sure I will be taking classes and working, but I am certain there will be times of lying in the sun at the cemetery, strolling through rushing rivers, lunches with friends, kids club, sundresses at church, graduation parties. Some things I will miss are:
-The gym. I know how painful it is to go, but I will miss that start of every day.
-Chapel. What a wonderful break in the morning, to focus the day on Christ.
-Friends. Laughing, being there.
-The library. Basically, my second home.
-Ministry. The best hour and a half of my week, extracurricular hours wise. I'll miss my kids!!
But mostly I am just like a first grader. I can't concentrate on anything except for break. I can barely stand to do homework; I am just looking forward to no more papers! I am also ready for a new semester, with new classes and activities. Some of the classes this semester weren't my favorite, and I can't say I am looking forward to biology AGAIN, but I'll live.
And I know I'm rambling tonight, but it's Monday. Today I gave a lesson in Phonics, on the "ight" phoneme. I thought my lesson was kind of disorganized, but afterward my professor came up and told me that it was superb, and she didn't take any points off! Oh, and she also said that my voice was the strongest it's been all semester. So, yay!
On to essays…. Happy Monday!
