I think I should mention my adoration for children's books. They must be good ones, unlike most of the dribble we give our children nowadays, with topics like underpants and trying to fit in. This blog is wonderful with its short reviews on some of the best childrens' literature out there, from older books to newer ones. What a joy to explore! I will be keeping abreast of it, and I recommend that if you enjoy a good book, you do too.

On the same topic, the CMC blog (see blog list) also writes book reviews on all the new books that they buy. You may want to check that out to see if there are any in your library.

Todays blessing: Siamese cat at 4 in the morning. The little love bug wouldn't stop purring. I think he wanted a snack. Even though I didn't want to be up at that ungodly hour, he sure enjoyed it. Made my early start to the day more lovely. Thank you God, for making siamese cats.
